My parents called last night and are planning to come visit this weekend, provided my Mom gets the green light to travel from her doctor today. She has COPD, and is just getting over pneumonia. ***Oh PLEASE...*** I'm not going to tell DS and DD, just in case they can't make it. If they can, then it will be a big surprise for my kids! They both have been VERY good about postponing Christmas. I'm so proud of them.

We had a GREAT weekend! Ty & B were totally surprised. I heard my parents pull in and waited for a knock on the door. Then I casually said, "Ty & B, please go see who's at the door." B ran upstairs, because she didn't want whomever was at the door to see her in her PJs (LOL!), but Ty answered the door. He had a shocked look on his face when he realized who it was. "Grandma and Grandpa?! BETHANY, it's Grandma and Grandpa!!" She came running down and everyone hugged and kissed. The kids helped unload the gifts and we opened them right way. LOL! We had a very nice visit. It was sad to see them leave, but they will be coming back to to help out when I have my surgery late Feb. or early March.
