An Angel was watching over our daughter..PRAY for her
Sorry so LONG!! Our 25 yr old daughter was on her way to work yesterday and NEVER maded it to work. She was in a REAL BAD car accident...the angels were with her.I got the call at 7:09am that our DSD was in the ER complaining of neck and back pain and that she wanted me up there. I dropped everything and had to hunt up a ride..my car is still being fixed from my accident last month.. We have had an accident in our family every month since Aug.
Got to the hospital by 8:09 we didn't know how she got there. My brother-in-law is a Fl Highway trooper and was at the hospital with her.He didn't see the accident but came on it after the other FHP guy was there..then he notice it was his neice..They had to lifeflight her to Halifax..we found out later when we went to look at her car that they had to CUT her out..when we were looking at the car the guy asked if anyone lived..we said only our DSD was in the car and that she was in the hospital..He said she was a VERY LUCKY young lady to be alive...after looking at the car we agree with him..I will try to put pictures here of her car later today.
Our DSD Tiffany is in ALOT of PAIN!! She has some bleeding on her brain but that will heal, some brusing on her lungs,lots of cuts and brusies..we thought she might have a broken leg but we dont think so now yeah for that one. She does have two broken vertebrates #2 and #7 and is in alot of PAIN...Dr said she will be ok but it will take time... She is in ICU still but they said she MIGHT go to a room today but we will have to see..Just called them and they said she slept ok but was in alot of pain but did get some sleep..she was sleeping when I called.. I will be going up there real soon to see our baby.
Her car is TOTALED... Yes,she had GAP insurance, it was a new car... she just got it in July..Says it will be awhile before she drives again.. I will drive her around for awhile but she will get back in the driver sit when ready!
She ended up hitting a camera pole..$40,000 for that pole...Thank you GEICO for paying for that!!Her DSS says they are already repalcing the pole..she saw that on her way to work this morning.We went up there yerterday looking for my daughter's cellphone battery and sim card. We needed to return to the scene of the crime. We did find the cellphone battery and the back but no sim card.Her phone does work but we will have to get her a new sim card...no biggy there...It was errie being there...while we were there someone called it in...they thought we had hit the pole again..we had to explain that it was our DSD that did it..they were not the guys that helped her but they did ask about her. We told them to THANK them for us..We are going to have to THANK these guys in person when Tiffany is out of the hospital.
Pray for our daughter Tiffany...That it is a speed recovery...We just want her home soon!!

Wow, she sure did have an angel with her!! My goodness how terrible!!!!! I hope she will have a speedy recovery too, just shaking my head here can't believe it....

WOW! There was definitely an angel watching over her.
The brain bleed - probably due to a concussion - will likely heal on it's own easily. However, the vertebrae fractures are another issue. Does she have any herniated or ruptured disks along with that? I know from experience with my spine issues, that is very painful.
Sending some prayers and lot of healing vibes her way, and hoping she feels better quickly.
How is she today?
Tiffany came home on monday afternoon.She is still in alot of pain but that will pass with time.
We want to thank all of you for your prayers she has a long road ahead but she is home and we can take care of her now.
Thanks ladies...must run I hear her on the baby moniter.

Cathy, how is Tiffany doing? I'm keeping her in my prayers. I hope she's in less pain.
Tiffany is doing better every day. She still has pain in her neck but the headaches are really bad at times...but that too will pass in the next few weeks from what we have been told.. at least we hope.
Thank you ladies for all of your prayer and words. Keep us in your prayer still as we try to go thru all of the paper work as it starts to come in LOL.
