Trona - booster ?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive November 2007: Trona - booster ?

Trina, ds is almost 8. He actually passes the 5 point test, but he doesn't sit in the seat correctly. He is 54 inches and 72 lbs. He is currently in a Graco Turbo Booster. It is great for short rides, but he is uncomfortable for long rides. The seat is not long enough, so his legs start to hurt. Hope that makes sense. Do know of one that might work better? Thanks for any help you can give me.

GOOD for you for keeping him in a booster! The Cosco boosters have deeper and wider seat bases. Sounds like that would be more comfortable for your DS. Is he in a high back or backless booster? The Cosco Highrise and Ambassador boosters are backless. The Cosco Pronto and Protek boosters are high backs.

We recommend kids stay in a booster until at least 4'9" and can pass the 5 Step Test.

okay, that should be Trina. We are on our way home, and i am typing on my iphone. Obviously, I need practice.

He is in a backless. I will take him to the store with me, and have him sit in the Cosco. It sounds like it would work better. Thank you!!
