Need Unbiased votes for my costume contest

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive November 2007: Need Unbiased votes for my costume contest
By Dana on Sunday, November 11, 2007 - 10:49 am:

My playroom did a contest for halloween and I finally got the photos posted. For those who are interested, can you please view the photos and place a vote in each age group? There were only a handful of kids to pick from (our entire community was sick over the halloween week.)

Thanks so much!

I'll be deleting this link to my website in a few days because I want to keep my secret Momsview from being found.

Oh my, they are all so cute. I can't decide.:-( Could they all be winners, LOL?
Sorry, I'm no help.

Dana, you sure have done a great job with your site!

My votes. Infant 1, toddler 2 and preschooler 2. Oh, and can I vote for Critter??? :)

Your site is very good, and the kids are very cute. I am not voting for any child, for a couple of reasons. First, it would be the costume, and it appears that all of them were bought. Second, I really don't like "contests" for children so young in general. The "losers" can be very hurt, and the "winners" probably don't understand why they won. In this instance, it would be because their parents picked the "cutest" costume.

I understand your position, Ginny. They will all go home with something, and actually, the kids have no idea they are in a contest, they are simply just too young. Nor will the prizes be given in front of an audience. They will just be told they get the big prize and can pick it up on their next visit.

Critter wasn't in a store bought :), well except fo the belt w/ holster and guns. I couldn't find a hat and it never crossed my mind until Halloween night that all cowboys need a bandana. Poor little guy was wearing one of my expensive silk scarves folded up several times around his collar. It was so cute! Oh, and he wore crocks! Not a proper cowboy, but he was sure darn cute.
