Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive November 2007: Just got my very first call from the school principal!
My kids are 9 & 11, and I've never received a call from the principal. When he told me who he was I started worrying. He said, "I have Tyler here in my office with me." Me:

It must be nice to get a good phone call from the principal. Too bad those rarely happen.

Congrats to Tyler! That's awesome. I've gotten good calls and bad calls (well, one bad call) from the principal, and good calls are definitely better!

Principal: "He was recommended by staff because he's artistic and really good with the software we use. I'm calling to ask if it's OK with you for Tyler to design our holiday school PC backdrop." Me: *PHEW!* "Yes, of course!"
