I'm leaving early tomorrow morning to fly back down to Baton Rouge. I defend my dissertation on Monday, 11/5, at 1:00. I'm terrified, but so ready for it all to be over and done with. Hopefully, by Monday at 3:30 I can breathe a big sigh of relief. I'll stay in BR for a few days because I have to get all of my revisions done and everything submitted to the grad school office so that I can graduate in December.

On Thursday, 11/8, I am flying to Honduras for another Operation Smile mission. This is part of the "World Journey of Smiles" and OpSmile is doing missions in 25 countries simultaneously to celebrate its 25th anniversary. I'm sure it will be an awesome experience. However, between this and my defense I will be away from my family for 2 solid weeks with no phone contact and "iffy" email contact during the 10-days in Honduras.

I'm sure I'll have pictures and hopefully good news to share when I return. In case I do have internet access, I set up a special open blog if you are interested. See you soon! :-)
