Computer Question

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive November 2007: Computer Question
By Hol on Friday, November 2, 2007 - 09:25 pm:

Hi All! I just had to buy a new monitor for my 5 year old computer. I went to the Dell website and ordered a fifteen inch monitor because the desk I have it on is small. The screen size is the same as my old one, but it is a lot lighter (in weight) because there is less "frame" around it. It is also the same size as the monitor I use at work all day. However, the print seems smaller. Is there a way that I can make it bigger? It seems to me that my DS Shawn did it for me once, but he doesn't remember how he did it. I would appreciate any help. I have Windows XP. Thanks.

Try this:

Right click on the desktop, choose properties, click on the Settings tab and change the screen resolution.

Thank you, Tammie. It changes everything above the address bar, but not text like Momsview, for instance. Is there any way to do that? Thanks.

I am using internet explorer and to change the text size on my screen I go to the View Menu at the top of the screen and choose text size and change it to larger or largest. Hope that helps!
