Ugh! I don't, but a little boy in the classroom that I sub a lot in has SEVERE allergies. The kids in there can't eat certain things in there, etc. You know the drill! His mother ate a Snickers one time, washed her mouth, and quite a bit of time lapsed, and she kissed him and his mouth broke out!

So, we had a field trip today, and I subbed in one room, and there was a sub in his room, and somehow we ended up on the bus together. Well, we lectured the kids in my class about no opening lunch boxes on the bus, and explained why, and they did great all the way over. On the way back, for some reason, I asked his sub if she had his epipen with her, and she said yes, and just then a REECES CUP came sailing over his head! It wasn't open, but still! I freaked out and boy did those kids get it! We had just reminded them not to open their lunch boxes on the bus because even airborne particles can cause a severe reaction, and here they went and threw one across the bus! I told them if I saw one person with their lunchbox open again, we'd be making a trip to the principal's office as soon as they got back!

I'm pretty easy going, but that's not something you mess around with!
