Removing odors

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive July 2007: Removing odors
By Kellyj on Monday, July 23, 2007 - 09:10 pm:

1. My cat peed on our laminate floor several days ago and I still can't get the smell out! I did a search online and found little info about how to get it out of the laminate floor. Does anyone have ideas/experience with this?

2. We bought a used piano about a month ago. It smelled awful like stale cigarrette smoke. We've tried Smoke away, air fresheners, baking soda boxes inside of the piano, and febreeze. Although much improved, the odor still lingers. Does anyone have anything that has worked for them to remove smoke odor?

For the Piano:
try wiping it down with vinegar
or put charcoal inside for a few days and replace until the smell goes away

Nature's Miracle really works- you can get it at most pet stores. Good luck!

Thanks everyone. We're headed to the pet store tonight.
I never even thought about charcoal for the piano! Thanks
