Wild Hogs

Moms View Message Board: Books, Movies and TV Shows: Wild Hogs

I saw this last night and laughed my butt off!! Shawn and I went to the multi-plex. He wanted to see "300" again. That didn't interest me, so I decided to go for 'funny'. I sat all by myself, surrounded by other middle-aged people. It was just light-hearted, stupid, silly humour. Good escapism. Everybody around me was laughing, too.

Shawn told me, when we met up in the lobby, that he met friends who invited him to see "The Hills Have Eyes 2" (a horror flick). He said, "Boy, did that movie STINK!!" I said "I could have told you that. LOL! You should have come with me".

Fortunately, because Shawn used to work there, we get in for free, so he didn't waste any money. :)

Once again, I wished we lived closer to each other, Hol! I would have gone to see "Wild Hogs" with you! I want to see it. The previews are had me laughing. Shawn was probably sorry he didn't stick with you. My dh went to see "300" alone the other night. Not one I would choose, either. He said the worst part was sitting through the previews before the movie started. He handles violence in movies better than I, but he couldn't handle some of the movies due to come out. He actually left at one point and returned to his seat when the movie started.

Nicki, I know how your DH feels. There are some pretty gruesome movies out today. "300" is SO-O-O BLOODY!! Not my cup of tea AT ALL!! Shawn said, "Well, it is history". Yeah, so are a LOT of things that I don't care to see. LOL!

Yes, Nicki, I would have LOVED to have had your company. We would have laughed ourselves silly!! There are enough upsetting things in the world. I want to be entertained. :)

I loved this movie! I laughed for 2 solid hours. The man behind me started laughing and then started snorting and blew soda out his nose during the scene with the state trooper.

Gary, Sarah, and I went to see this movie tonight. We laughed so hard, too! Especially funny, was the little short, during the credits! ROFL! It was perfect! It comes highly recommended.

Also, aside from the story, the countryside, where they all shot the movie was so pretty, too! Someday I've gotta see the Pacific Coast Highway!
