Hmmmmmmmmm I wasn't overly impressed with the premiere, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the show, so I *know* it will be a good season.

I MISSED most of the premier and wasn't feeling well at all and if I recall I think I feel asleep before it ended. I saw may 15 minutes. I was bummed the next day. CAn't wait for tonight. I already told DH that we were watching that, LOL.

I am very tired of Meredith and Derek. Thursday night's episode seems now like it is leading to McDreamy starting something with Meredith's siter. Neither of those characters know what they want. Also, I see the Callie/Izzy/george thing going nowhere. And now, it looks like the Chief will be alone again. The show needs some fresh writing, and I heard today that the Hollywood writers may go on strike.

I'm with you, Karen. The George and Izzy story bugs me. I really like Callie. I felt badly for the poor chief, but I certainly think he made the right decision.

I'm with Karen and Marcia. I still love Meredith and Derek and hope that they keep trying to make it work. I hate the George and Izzy storyline. I HATE that they broke up Callie's marriage and I just keep remembering Izzy saying during the 2nd season that George was Callie's McDreamy! I would like to see Meredith's sister more involved in the storyline and I really think the show needs some new blood. But...I still love this show. It's a disease, what can I say???

I have to admit that I haven't liked Meredith from the very beginning. I know the show is "Grey's Anatomy" and supposed to revolve around her, but I'm getting tired of her character really getting into the 'all about me' thing, and being so rude to the half sister whose mother reached out so kindly to Meredith.

Am I the only one that doesn't like Callie? I have never like her, she's depressing. I think the George and Izzy storyline is cute, although I don't think it's nice of him to leave his wife for her, but if he's not happy being with Callie, than there ya go! I never really counted their marriage as "real" anyway. They went way too fast and eloped!

Not that I think it's a good idea to do that in real life of course. But it's a t.v. show, and a drama. I sort of expect storylines like that.

Patti, I didn't like Callie for a long time. I guess I really liked the way she tried so hard to fit into George's life, working so hard to make his friends like her even when that goes against her personality so much. I REALLY hope she doesn't end up pregnant after all this turmoil but I wonder if the show is heading that way. We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

Well, I always thought it was a mistake when George and Callie married. He and Izzie always had a connection, and NO, I don't condone *homewrecker sex*, but I never thought George and Callie should be/stay married to begin with anyway.

As for Meredith's treatment of Lexie, you have to remember that it's not about Lexie - or Lexie's mom - it's about their dad abandoning Meredith when she was a child and her struggle as an adult with her feelings about her abandonment and her jealousy that he was there for Lexie. I think she'll eventually have a relationship with Lexie. Meredith's issues with her dad are what affects ALL of her relationships.
