OK, weigh in here, girls. Yes, it just started this week, but do you have a favorite couple? Or one you can't stand?

Okay, I'm going for the young meat - LOL!! I've never heard of Albert Reed before (apparently, he's a Model), but my goodness can this kid move and I found his humor to be quite hysterical!!

Jane Seymour was SO graceful - she looked like she was floating! I've loved Marie Osmond for over thirty years (since the days of the Donny & Marie show when I was a kid), so I'm rooting for her, and I love Jennie Garth from 90210 also.

Helio was fabulous and having so much fun, which is always enjoyable to watch!! Wayne Newton was a bit of a letdown, although he was definitely trying to do his best and to entertain.

I wasn't surprised when Josie got the boot, but I have to say that I felt the judges unfairly ripped her to shreds, when she actually danced pretty well.

Can't wait til Monday - I love the Quick Step!!

At this point, I like Helio & Julianne, and Sabrina & Mark, and I also think Melanie & Maks are good. Actually, this year, there are so many good ones! I cannot STAND Wayne Newton, never could! And I don't really like Mark Cuban at all either, just my personal feelings, nothing to do with his dancing.

Joy, I love the quick step and the Latin dances too!

I like the race car driver the best on both nights. He is incredible for a new dancer or even a seasoned dancer. And his attitude is awesome.

Wow, what a night!! Helio is definitely standing out!! I also thought Marie was incredible last night!! I felt so bad when Derek Hough slipped on Jennie Garth's dress. I thought they just messed up until they showed the slo-mo replay and you could clearly see he had stepped on her dress.

I completely agree that everyone is doing so well!! It's really hard to pick who's leaving tonight. Wayne probably needs to go, but I think his huge fanbase will keep him in the running for a while longer. On the morning radio show I listen to, everyone was knocking Mark Cuban, and a few called in to knock Floyd too. It'll be interesting tonight!!

Well, I have to stand up for Albert!! I enjoyed him and I'm bummed he got the boot - he had so much potential!! I think he was having a good time and not taking himself too seriously, but that was just my take. I had never heard of him prior to the competition!

LOL about plastic Wayne!!! You can't help but think that everytime you see him!!

Helio is awesome, and I'll continue to root for Marie for sentimental reasons!!

Soon, it will be very hard to guess who will be voted off. I have 4 favorites, and at some point, I'll have to narrow it down:

Sabrina & Mark
Helio & Julianne
Mel & Maks
Jennie & Derek

Next week are the Latin dances - I love those, and the Paso Doble, and the jive, and the Quick step - I am not crazy about the waltzes, and I really wasn't impressed with the Viennese Waltz they introduced into the show this past week.

I agree Karen it's going to be very hard to guess who gets voted off next......Marie or Jane or Jennie are my guesses.

My three faves are:

Sabrina & Mark
Mel & Maks
Helio & Julianne

Like you I like the fast paced dances especially the quick step and the jive. Latin dances will be fun to watch also. My nephew and his wife just moved out to Boston and are taking Latin dance classes to meet new people. It's hard to think of them doing that since he is pretty reserved.

Can't wait until tonight!!!!! I never thought I would be one to watch this show but it is very entertaining.

Poor Marie how awful but the way she was breathing and such thank goodness she only fainted and nothing else.

I was so disappointed in Helio and Julianne!!!!! They have the potential, she's EXCELLENT, and in the beginning, they seemed to have the chemistry to really work well together, but last night, she danced and he was almost like a prop. :-(

True, Mark and Kim's dance was *entertaining*, but really, he can't dance, so IMO, it's time for him to go. Cameron has surprised me, I don't really care for him, but he's doing better than I thought he would.

I didn't think Marie was all that good, but I like her.

Mark reminds me of an old boyfriend I had in college. So, I would say he is cute even if he wasn't loaded. I wouldn't go as far to say eye candy, but certainly enjoyable to watch! I was shocked by the muscles in his arm at some point back. I would have never thought he had muscles, he just doesn't look the type.

I really had high hopes for Helio in the beginning, but he's not very impressive now. However, the ladies are doing a wonderful job - and it's going to be tough to single out a favorite next week.

I am just STUNNED!! I never saw that coming!! I thought for sure that Jane was outta there last night. Did you notice that Sabrina looked really uncomfortable all night? I wonder if she knew something was up?

Did anyone else find it suspicious that Jane came down with food poisoning just 15 minutes before airtime? Even Marie made a kind of subtle comment about it.

I was/am in total shock !!!! I cannot believe the results. They kept saying the results were shocking but come on. What is going on? Sabrina held it together very well I would have lost it if I was her.

I don't remember hearing about the food poisoning must have dozed off for a minute.

Does anyone notice how Jennie keeps running her tongue over her teeth? It drive me crazy.

Yup, complete shock here, too!! I think it proves that everyone really does need to vote. I'm guessing that people figured she'd get tons of votes, so voted for other people. I know I've done that each time. I voted for her, but didn't give her all of my votes.

I'm thinking Mel will be the winner, because she's certainly better than anyone else there.

Yes, I've noticed that about Jennie and her teeth. I wonder if it's super dry in the studio or something.

I keep thinking there was a glitch in the voting system. I still can figure how Sabrina came in so far behind. Jane and Marie should be heading home. They are doing well, but their not at the same level as the others. And even if popularity was the reason for votes, Sabrina should be pretty high up there. That is the ONLY way Billy Ray got as far as he did.

You were right. I'm a little disgusted with the scoring method at this point. It just isn't fair. It shouldn't be about your fan base, it should be based on how good you dance. A couple seasons back, when Mario lost to Emmett, was a perfect example. Emmett was a good dancer, but Mario was by far a better dancer.

Out of the 4 that were in the semi-finals, Marie was the *worst* dancer. She's very entertaining, she's practically a clown, but she is NOT the better dancer.

So, I'm pretty much disgusted with the show and the scoring. I mean, the point is for the BEST dancer to win. Marie has this huge fan base, so she'll get tons of votes, no matter how good or bad she is, and it's just not a fair way to judge.

I guess I just like Jennie. She HAS been tense, she's said a number of times she gets nervous dancing in front of the live audience. But the last 2 weeks, she's really made a breakthrough.

I still think the voting has become a joke.

My #1 is between Helio and Mel - I think both of them are great, Mel has the edge though. I'd be happy with either of them winning. They have been 2 of my faves since the first show.

And I agree about Sabrina - she was my #1 and I was SHOCKED when she was voted off - that just confirms my gripe about the fairness of the voting - she should have been in the finals, IMO.

I agree that Sabrina was the best, and from week 1 it was obvious she was the winner to be. But, I don't think it's fair that they had someone who was already a dancer in the competition. Even though she dances hip hop, she still had great moves going into it, unlike anyone else. I think it was easier for her to learn the dances, because she is used to choreography.

Wow - what a HUGE disappointment!!! I was so looking forward to the show last night - what a let down!!

Mel's freestyle was a sloppy and uninspired hodge-podge of various moves from different dances that didn't fit together.

And when Jonathan was winding up Marie the Doll, I thought the "doll" would come to life for the dance and then return to being a doll at the end of the dance. But then I realized she was performing the whole dance as a doll!!

Helio is the only one who moved me last night.

Pretty disappointing, I agree. I like Helio and Mel. I think (hope) Mel will win it, thought my votes went to Helio. I just have a problem with Marie's fanbase putting her into the #1 spot, because she is not the best dancer, and last night proved it. Her freestyle was AWFUL.

Woo Hoo! I was good with either Mel B or Helio winning, but Helio was my personal favorite. Go Helio!

BUT - I think they need to restructure their scoring/voting system for the next season - assuming there will BE a season 6. As they said, Mel B had the highest scores from the judges throughout the competition. So, in my mind, she *should* have actually been the winner, *if* you go by that alone. However, the viewer votes counted for 50% of the total points last night, so obviously Helio & Julianne had more votes.

I am all for viewer participation/voting - that's what makes this the #1 reality show (on ABC at least.....) - but I don't necessarily agree that they should count for 50% of the votes - perhaps a smaller percentage would be more appropriate. My point is, this is a DANCE competition, not a popularity contest.

Mel B & Helio have been in my top 4 faves the entire season, so I was happy to see either one of them win, and to be perfectly honest, I was *really* happy that Helio & Julianne won. Even though Mel had the highest scores consistently all season, in the finale, Mel and Maks were in the lead by only one point by the judges' scoring. The viewer votes were what put Helio & Julianne ahead of them.

But, in the end, I still think that the best dancer should be the winner. In this case, it wasn't cut and dried - both couples were equally good, IMO............

I think Mel should have won, because she has been consistently great since the beginning. Helio was certainly my second choice of all, so it's all good.
I agree with you about the scoring. I do think that people smartened up though, because Marie could have easily taken it based on fan votes. This week people finally voted for great dancers instead. Hooray!

There's been a lot on the TV news and the internet about how Marie was telling people to vote for her, on her website she sells her dolls on, and about how her family members have gone on talk shows and told people to vote for her.

It's unfair. Like I said, it shouldn't be a popularity contest. I told DH when the show first came on last night, if Marie won, I wouldn't be watching it in the future, because she's just NOT that good.

I think the right person won. Mel (and Sabrina) came into the competition as strong dancers. They were good week in and week out. There is no doubt, they were fun to watch. But I like the stars who come in with no experience and get better and better every week to the point where they are super strong dancers by the end. We saw it with Helio this season, Apollo last season, Emmitt the season before...those are the ones I like to see win. I would be let down if the people who won these were the ones who came in with experience and, while they did work hard and improve, it could easily be predicted from the first show that they should win.
