Sorry, I don't know how to make it clickable! But Dr. Burke is no more!!!! I can't believe the show is losing two major characters! Ugh, this makes me mad, but I guess Isaiah Washington is too much of a jerk. It's a shame that someone is blessed with the chance to have such a good job, and they are so hateful and mean that they lose it.
I wonder how the show will be without him.

I read that, too. I hate that the show is losing such a pivotal character but I really don't think he deserves the position he had, based on the poor choices he made during his time on the show. I do think this may mean that George remains on the show. It might be too much for the show to handle losing Burke, George and Addison.

I am happy to see Burke go. I figured that was the plan because of his abrupt departure at his wedding. Good riddance. Sorry, I just do not like him. He made a fool of himself on the set and off.

I heard about George last night. I really would have missed him. I'm also glad to see Washington go. His behavior was just sickening.

Yeah, I don't think that Burke's character added much to the show, but George's sure did. I, too, am glad that he is not coming back. I heard that the producers told HIM that he is not coming back. Maybe they were afraid they'd lose viewers if he stayed and George went, especially after his off-screen behaviour.

I was surprised when I heard about his rudeness and hurtfulness to T.R. Knight because I saw him on Oprah, and he said that he didn't want to play "bad guy" roles because you can't help but have the character become a part of you. That led me to believe that he was a really sensitive, spiritual guy. Then he shattered that belief.

I am so happy to hear he is leaving. I liked his character...until the fiasco with T.R. I would much rather lose him and keep George! Good riddance...the cast doesn't need someone with that kind of attitude around.

I'm glad that the producers saw what a jerk he was and got rid of him, good for them! I'm a bit bummed that George is coming back, only because the story line with him and Izzy drives me nuts. I think it would be horrible if he cheated on Callie with her (again), i wouldn't want to watch the show anymore if that happens.

I could not stand Burke, he was such a big headed, idiot.

Ditto Melanie! Up until then, I really liked the storyline relating to his relationship with Christina. But I have had it up to HERE with homophobes and racial BS.
