My Dad found out Friday that he has a spot on his lung. He goes in the 23rd to run more tests. The Dr. Said it could be nothing or something serious. about 2 years ago they said the had early stages on empahzema (sp?. he quit smoking a few months ago and is doing really good.
He asked my Mom to not tell us kids he didn't want to worry us. But Mom told him no that we would be hurt if it turned out to be serious. My Dad is a Dad to me like no other he is a very loved man and Dad and I am a little scared because When I seen him today he wasn't himself I figure there is alot on his mind. Please say alittle prayer for him.

Shannon, I'm sorry about your dad, and I will be praying for him.But, try to not think of the bad possibilities and take the attitude that you are not going to worry 'till you know you've got something to worry about. They found some spots on my lungs a few years ago, and it turned out to be nothing. I'm actually going to be getting them rechecked in a few days...as well as the dreaded mammogram But, try not to worry.Just enjoy being with your dad

My Dad goes in tomorrow and 1 Him and Mom came over today which was a suprise they live about an hour from us and the were just here yesterday they usually come by maybe once every 2 weeks. mom said that they wanted to come visit and see the grandkids they were lonely this morning ( they brought my kids home yesterday). plus Mom said he just wanted to get out to the house to occupy his mind with something else. He is worried you can really tell it in his face which hurts alot usually he is happy go lucky. He is almost 3 months of not smoking which I am really really proud of that.
