His name is David ...
He has had heart tests run all week for something we decided was nothing to worry about but he was humoring me to have them run cuz he had an episode of what he thought was low blood sugar and this last time his lips turned white gray. So I made a appt with cardiologists and as I said he humored me to make me feel better ...HE turns 70 this year and wanted to rub it in my face that he was in better health than I ... I wanted him to be able to do that ...well he couldnt do but 4 minutes of the stress tests and preliminary reports supported proof that they rushed the reports and at 330 we are to meet with dr and see what it all says ... instead of waitin till the original date march 6th ... now im on pins and needles and not slept ... people are saying either by pass or angioplasty ... sp.. either way ... im not lookin forwzrd and these are guesses ... im on my knees prayinfor god to be there with us ...
hugs and thank you in advance my dear friends ...

Sounds like you have a lot of support. I know with support comes people logistics. By the way two of my husband's brothers and one sister have had more than one bypass and/or angioplasty and have had great recoveries and are very active - golf, tennis, swimming, travel. Those operations can really improve vitality and energy as well as being life saving.

Still in our prayers

Jewlz,

So encouraging to hear your husband is on the mend and things went well. Sounds like you survived the family and friend logistics also.

Hope to hear more when you've rested.

You're still in our prayers.

Jewlz .... how are things going now ? Hopefully you are finding time to rest yourself, as many of us know, it's more exhausting being the caregiver than it is being the one who is needs taking care of ..... hopefully some family can give you a respite every once in awhile !

Glad to hear you guys made it this far though .... stressful times these are !

By Jewlz on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 - 06:46 pm:

yes it was exhausting and hard to go thru ... his family has come in and left and now his kids are coming in ...it is interesting to see how family comes around like this ... he is healing fast and getting around he was in the hospitol for a total 59 hours and 20 minutes ... i think thats crazy and the scar is small ... im so glad its all going well he walks and is so calm like a different man ... the man i use to enjoy ...

By Northcountrymom on Friday, March 13, 2009 - 10:48 pm:

Hi Jewlz,
Hope you guys are till Ok?

Hi Jewlz
Thanks for the update. Sounds like you need a rest. Hopefully you can do something nice for Jewlz after everyone's gone - order in, get a manicure, bubble bath, extra naps - something for you.
Love to hear what you do.

Still in our prayers.

Linda
