Please say a prayer for this family

Moms View Message Board: Prayer Requests: Please say a prayer for this family
By Debbie on Friday, December 28, 2007 - 10:06 am:

My ds played both baseball and football with the nicest little boy. We found out yesterday that his mom passed away. She was diagnosed with cancer in the lining of her lungs last week, and died just a few days later on Sunday.

Unfortuantely, ds' pitching instuctor was talking about it in front of him. It really upset him. He asked me last night what Carter was going to do without his mom.

So, please keep Carter, and his dad Chris in your thoughts and prayers.

{{{HUGS}}} That's so sad. She was only diagnosed last week? Wow.

What a tragedy.:( Carter, his father and your ds will be in my prayers. Death is an impossible concept for an adult, much less a child.

Yes Dawn, just last week. She was sick over Thanksgiving with what they thought was pneumonia. She was even in the hospital. They released her, and she started feeling bad again. Then readmitted her, and did some tests, that is when they found the cancer. She never left the hospital, and died less then a week later.

Oh my gosh!! This is so sad.For it to happen so fast, they had no time to prepare at all for such a tragedy!! I just prayed for them, and will continue to do so.

:( The mom of 7 and 5 yo girls, that just died, where I work at school, was sick for a number of years, before she died. While still tragic, I think they were a little more prepared. Yikes.
