Prayer for my neighbor

Moms View Message Board: Prayer Requests: Prayer for my neighbor
By Debbie on Friday, August 24, 2007 - 12:57 pm:

She has been having complications with her pregnancy. They have known for the last few months that there were some problems, but they didn't know the extent. They found out last week that the baby was taking on fluid, and probably wouldn't survive outside the womb. I just found out that she went into labor this morning. They are positive now she is loosing the baby. She is 7 months now. They are just the nicest family. They have a 4 yr. old dd that is so excited about the baby. I know they are going to be devastated by this.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today. Her name is Julie and her husband's is Jason.

Thank you!

I'm so sorry, Debbie. :-( That is just heartbreaking! Prayers heading up for Julie and Jason. (Wow, that sounds weird to me, my oldest 2 kids are named Julie and Jason!)

How devasting. I know people who have miscarriages early on sometimes hold it with them, sometimes don't. But that far along into a pregnancy is something that always stays with you. My mother lost twins at that stage, and during my first pregnancy was so scared for me and worried.

I will pray for peace for them.

If you get an update let us know. There is part of me that wants to hold out somehow there is hope.

She delivered yesterday morning around 5am. The baby was stillborn. They are having a family memorial service today.

They are just the kindest people that this really breaks my heart. They showed up at my doorstep the day we moved in with a full course dinner. She is a pediatrician, and when she heard my youngest ds had a bad reaction to poison ivy, she was at my doorstep with samples of medication that cleared it right up. They are just so thoughful and nice.

Please keep them in your prayers. I am sure this is going to be a very difficult time for them.

Thank you all.

I'm sorry. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGE HUGS}}}}}}}}}}} and prayers for them. They are going to need a lot of support to process this.

Debbie, how is this family doing?? Was the baby a boy or girl? How is their other child coping? I can't imagine being a pediatrician and having to see all those newborn babies day after day at work. I assume she's taking some time off, correct? How soon before she goes back? How very sad for all of them. :o(

By Jtsmom on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 - 02:46 pm:

That is just awful, I can't even imagine what they are going through.
