409 or Fantastic

Moms View Message Board: Get Organized: 409 or Fantastic

What's your favorite?

By Dana on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 - 09:03 pm:

Neither. I use Mr Clean for my all purpose. I like their newest scent "Season's Freshness" For the really nasty greasy cleaning, Grease Lightning.

I am a huge fan of 409 but have been buying the orange scented Fantastic to clean fingerprints off of my stainless steel kitchen appliances. I do detest the the orange smell but it works "fantasicly"!

I like scrubbing bubbles.

I have been buying Fantastic OxyClean or Oxypower...it's in a blue spray bottle at WalMart for about $2.39. I love it! It even got some old stains out of my carpet, but you can use it in the kitchen, bathroom, or anywhere else :) Plus, it smells really nice like a laundry detergent.

I use Spray Nine, which Amy turned me on to. 409 is pretty good, but I'm liking the Lysol Kitchen spray, too. :)

We use the clorox clean up spray and gel. We use to use 409 before that.

I use Simple Green for everything. I like the smell of it, it cleans everything, and is non-toxic. It cuts grease, too. You can dilute it if you want a weaker solution, and put it in a spray bottle. DH uses it on the tires and washes his lawnmower with it, too.

I buy the gallon jug of it at Sam's Club. It lasts a while.

I don't like Fantastic, because the fumes bother me and always make me cough! I think it worked fine as a cleaner, though, but I couldn't tolerate it.

I've never used either. :)
