fall off the wagon besides me? I've not been going to my dance class in a while and my body is starting to show it. Aw, heck. It's been showing it! lol I've recently had bloodwork done and all of my numbers are good. They are good, just not what they were say about a year or two ago. I know that's how things happen. Slowly and over time. I've got to get it together!

How is everyone else doing?

I actually got back on the wagon about 4 weeks ago. I did great the first month of the summer, and then stopped exercising the last 2 months of summer. Now that the kids are back in school, I am going to the gym 5 days a week. I have 2 friends that are members, so we are holding each other accountable. I am frustrated though! I am walking 3 miles a day! I have only lost 6-7 lbs which came off the first couple of weeks. But, I am determined by next spring to be down 13-18 more lbs!!!!

We all fall off the wagon. Now, you just got to get back on it!!! You can do it!!

Hi. My name is Alice and I've just joined the site. I am trying to do WW, but find it very hard to stick with it....any advice?

I see alot of you are talking about exercise. I ordered the Zumba tapes and love them, but finding the time and motivation to do is just so hard. I do know it makes a difference though.
I have started the day off well, with a granola bar, so I have to make sure I do good the rest of the day. So hard though, when your husband loves junk food for breakfast and sweets are my biggest weakness. Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself to see if anyone else out there is battling with the WW plan.
Thx
Alice

I am on WW and lost about 30 lbs the early part of the year and then had to have surgery and gave up for 4 months.. I am back on and losing again. I find that if i don't just eat 3 meals a day I do better at saying no to the things that I see and want. But one thing I have learned is to find something that will make whatever craving you have go away.

I am starting to exercise more and it really helps.

I have battled with WWs and I guess that I have found that if I just set my mind to it I do really well on the plan, but I can't look at it as a diet.. Because I can't diet i like to cheat too much. I look at it now like a change to being healthy, it is a choice i make with everything I put in my body. When I want something "bad" I tend to give in (about once a week) and have whatever it is that I really want after I wait a little while to make sure that is really what I want. A lot of times I decide that I am not really even hungry when I think I want something bad, that I am upset about something or really thirsty, I think that is a big thing that helped me.. I decided every time i thought I was hungry I would first drink a glass of water and do something else for 30 min then if i was still hungry I would then eat. It has really changed what I eat and when.

Good luck and remember make small goals.. that are reachable..
