Isagenix

Moms View Message Board: Let's Get Fit! (Weight Loss Support Group): Isagenix

Hey anyone one heard of isagenix?!!!

A friend of mine lost 10 pounds and 14 overall inches on the 9 day plan, and she is not big maybe a size 12. It is not a fast and not a diet. It is a cleanse. It cleanses the liver, kidney, colon (and we all need that) and some more it hink i cant remember exactly. It does a great job of cleasing the colon. My husband is going to try it and see how it works for him. We know some people who did it and had great success. Well just wanted to throw that in. You get the benefits of losing weight and getting rid of all the toxic waste that sits in your body from bad elimination.

Thanks Julie

Atkins recommends a liver flush in his book.

Here is a easy liver flush

There are others on the page but they look like torture.

Hey my husband is on his fourth day of isagenix and has lost 3 inches in his stomach, 3 inches in his chest, one inch oround his butt and 2 inches around his rib cage. I am not sure how much weight he lost because he did not weigh himself untill the second day and he weighed 282lbs. About 2 months ago he weighed 305, so I am not sure how much he lost on isagenix alone and how much was lost before.

i will keep you posted and on day nine I will post how much he weighs. We are very excited. also it has been great on the colon.

What kind of food do you eat on this diet?
From searching google I found that it's some kind of high protein shake?
Do you eat vegetables and other things?

On the website I found they advise you to skip meals and drink this "shake" instead.
Is that healthy?

Yes it seems to be very healthy. The first two days is somewhat of a fast. You have a fast start drink. It has a lot of what your body needs in it and a whole lot of water. Those two days were difficult but not becuase he was hungry like if it was a juice fast or a water fast but becuase he wanted to eat. He said that he wasn't hungry the second day and felt fine. The 3rd day you start replacing Breakfast and dinner with a shake. It is not like a slimfast shake with a lot of sugar. At lunch he has been eatnig a lot of vegetables and fruit and chicken. It is not like the slimfast diet at all wich basically cuts your calories. IT cleanses the liver and colon (wich we have seen evidence of). I would say it is very safe. The shake has a lot of vitamins and minerals and a whole lot of fiber in it. So water is very important if you don't want to get constipated.

So days 3-7 you do eat lunch where they suggest a 600 calorie lunch. From what I can see in results and ingredients you are not starving your body of anything. It is the opposite. I just looked at the fast drink and it has a lot of whole organic plant food in it. IT seems very healthy and he is seeing very good results physically. Not jsut losing weight but feeling better and getting old old stool out of the colon wich everyone has and more than you think. I would say it is much better than the diet shakes you buy at the store. The taste leaves something to be desired but it is too bad.
