My dh got this idea from someone at work. My kids have fun with it.

You get a small pig, we use the pig that came with the Fisher-Price Little People Farm. Put the pig in the middle of the dinner table. When someone is caught having bad table manners (chewing with mouth open, talking with mouth full, being super sloppy etc) the pig is put in front of him/her. The pig can be moved by anyone, not just a parent. Whoever has the pig in front of them by the end of the meal, has to clean up!

My kids have had fun with this, and they have also been tryin really hard to have good table manners. They've been saying "please pass the (whatever)" and "thank you". It's been great!

That is a really great idea & a great way not to have to clean up...bet my dh would have to!
