Mason has a double ear infection!

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Mason has a double ear infection!
By Eve on Monday, May 8, 2006 - 09:38 am:

My poor baby is not feeling good. He caught my DD's cold and then he was just not himself. I also could smell it in his ear and I can always smell it with my DD too, so I knew. He's taking Amoxicillin and seems to be getting a little better. We need some serious healthy vibes! My DH caught the cold and now my chest is starting to hurt. Calgon, take me away! LOL

Thanks for listening to me gripe! I just need to whine! online

(((HUGS))) Hopefully the meds will kick in soon and Mason will be back to normal. NO fun when the kids are sick and even less fun when Mom & Dad are under the weather, too!

Hope all of you are feeling 100% soon! I truly know how it is to have a house full of sick kids, and then catch their illnesses too!

Healthy vibes your way. We spent every two weeks of Critter's new life seeing the dr (and even the hospital) right up until Jan 2006. The office girls even know me by voice when I call. Not a good sign...nice, but not a good sign. He's only been sick twice since then, so it did finally get easier.

It is so hard to keep the babies healthy when you have an older child. Especially this past year. At least, here in FL. We have had record numbers of illnesses throughout. DD's school says this has been an awful year for absences.

Seth is just getting over a double ear infection now. I feel your pain, Eve. I'm glad to hear that Mason's already starting to feel a little better. I hope the rest of you are all feeling better soon!!!:)

BTW, I could smell my ds's ear infection this time and thought of you. I've never noticed it before.

Awww, poor Mason. Hope he is back to feeling himself, soon.

I have already had 2 sinus infections. One 2/9 and another one 3/28. I'm sick again and probably should go to the doctor. This time it feels like it's more in my chest, so probably bronchitis. I have read recently, that it's a bad allergy year. I think that's what it is. We had a very wet April and I'm allergic to mold!

Poor little guy. I know thats not fun at all I just had a double ear infection not too long ago. I hope he feels better soon!

I knew I could smell tonsilitis coming on but I wasn't aware of smelling for ear infections. Is it like a really distinctive smell like the tonsilitis?
