Last night out of the blue, Kaitlyn sang me the WHOLE ABCs. Perfectly. I didn't even know she knew more than A,B,C,D. Where have I been? Needless to say, i'm quite impressed. I thought she was too young to know this much!

They are like a sponge at this age. DS has been doing some stuff that has both my dh and myself asking, "Did you teach him that?" It's really cool, isn't it?

Ditto Nancy, they are definitely little sponges!

This will be the first of many! It's so exciting to see what they've soaked up while we weren't paying attention.

Awwww, how cute! I loved when they could do that, too!

It was also great fun, when they were into saying a new word every day, as they learned to talk! I loved watching my kids grow up!

That's great! Isn't it so much fun??

Dawn, Natalie is that way right now, saying new words everyday. No matter what you say she's trying to repeat it. (Ok, can I say we have to watch everything we say now?LOL) We LOVE hearing her new words and attempts every day. Yesterday she said "Go side" to the dogs for "Go outside." You would have thought she had just won the Nobel Prize. DH and I are amazed everyday. Your comment about loving to watch your kids grow up is soooo true.

That's why I love my job. I get to be a part of the language explosion and it is so much fun! I get as excited as the parents do...every time. :)
