Perfect attendance

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Perfect attendance
By Dramamamma on Friday, January 25, 2008 - 09:18 am:

Last night was Brendan's award ceremony and for the second 9 week grading period in a row he got PERFECT ATTENDANCE.

Last year he didn't get it a single grading period because of his tonsils and ears, he must have missed 10 days before his surgery alone.

I'm pretty proud of my boy, I've always thought perfect attendance was a pretty impressive thing!

I can't wait until after school because today is report card day! YEA!

Good for him!!

Dd has always been pretty healthy. She actually just missed her first day of school in 3 years from actually being sick last Friday (the 18th) She has missed for other things, so she hasn't always gotten the perfect attendance things though.

Wow, good for him! Other than missing school for band obligations, Emily has had perfect attendance, since she had her appendix out, when she was 12.

That is awesome!!! My best friend growing up had perfect attendance for as long as I can remember, and I remember the rest of us trying to convince her it would not be the end of the world if she skipped a day of HS (I don't even remember why, now!!!)

Great job Brendan!

Good job! I was always impressed with kids with perfect attendance. I always got sick at least once a year and had to miss. (or maybe I didn't HAVE to :) )
