Wrapping Paper Scraps?

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: Wrapping Paper Scraps?
By Reds9298 on Sunday, December 2, 2007 - 05:10 pm:

Any creative ideas out there for what little ones can do with extra scraps of wrapping paper? (Besides make cards and tags) I started wrapping today and Nat is into the paper. We made Christmas streets out of the scrap strips I had today, and she drover her cars on them to the North Pole.

Anything else crafty you do or can think of? TIA:)

You can make small strips and tape the ends to make Christmas garland . Link one around the other and make a chain. I remember that from school.

We've been making chains, but with construction paper. We'll have to use the wrapping, too. Thanks!

I've saved some of mine for the Christmas pages in Amy's scrapbook (I've done one for each child for their 21st birthday - Amy's only 17, but I like an early start on collecting :)).

We shred ours and use it as decorative packing for gifts.
