How do you store/organize your paper scraps?

For any stampers or scrappers: how do you store or organize your paper scraps? I've been scrappin' and stampin' for about 6 years and still haven't come up with a way to do this that suits me. Any ideas/experiences would be great!!! Thanks!

I have tried many things too, what I finally resorted to was ziplock bags. I ahve a gallon size for large pieces and then a sandwich size for smaller pieces. I have also taken to trimming scraps, like I will cut 2in ches strips from a page. Or if I have punched something I will punch up the scraps with all squares or hearts, then i store those either in a zippy or i have a little box I can fit them in.

Oh good idea Kaye, about going ahead and snipping them down to parts you know you might want later. I never thought of that. I currently keep my scraps in a box, sort of filed but not really and I find that I just keep adding to it and not using them up. If I try what you do maybe I'll start using them up more and can see them better, too. Thanks!!!
