So how's it going? What is your usual trial period. My little guy is a quick thinker/judger I usually know within a couple of days if things are going to be tough for us.

Anyway, you were on my mind and I wondered how the week went.

So far school's going well. He's still on the "honeymoon" phase, kwim? It won't last long, though. Most kids will have about 3-4 weeks of good behavior before they show their true colors. I expect Robin's to show up any time now. That's okay with me, though because then they can know what they're really dealing with and work on the real problems. He had yesterday off (parent/teacher conferences) and he gets the week of Thanksgiving off. Dh and I have an appointment with his school counselor next Friday. We'll see how that goes.

Thanx for thinking of us. :) How's the med game going with your ds?

well...he is on strattera now. He isn't comopletely crazy like the last med, and is currently tolerating it. I don't know that it is really helping, but I guess time will tell.

It has been a long morning here and I forgot to give him his meds today...a good mom would go to the school and give it him. But that isn't me today!

I hope the strattera works for him. It did nothing for Robin and it actually made Randy depressed. I found him hiding behind his bed crying while his friends were outside playing during his birthday party! SO not like Randy at all!!! Just keep a close watch (I know you will :) ).

I've btdt with forgetting to give Robin meds. I usually don't take them to school, but then again, the meds he's on now have a long half-life so it takes a few days to notice he's not on them (and BOY do you notice! lol). When he was on stimulants you definitely noticed immediately. I hope you son does okay today. Hugs
