Need recipe for Kobe Shrimp Sauce

Does anyone have this recipe? I have it somewhere but can't locate it. My son wants it because he is making fried rice and wants the shrimp sauce to go with the rice.

Joan, I have heard of Kobe beef, which to me means very tender beef---but not kobe shrimp sauce. Interesting. Here's what I found:

Kobe beef

Definition: [KOH-bee] An exclusive grade of beef from cattle raised in Kobe, Japan. These pampered cattle are massaged with sake and fed a special diet that includes plentiful amounts of beer. This specialized treatment results in beef that is extraordinarily tender and full-flavored. It also makes the beef extravagantly expensive, which is why it's rarely available in the United States.

That's from the FoodNetwork.

I really don't have a clue what the sauce could be. Do you remember what's in it? How is the shrimp cooked?

Susan, the main ingredient is mayonnaise. Then there are very small amounts of sugar, white pepper, paprika, and ketchup. There may be other ingredients, but I can't remember them or the amounts of any of the ingredients. It turns out to be a very light pink in color and is delicious served with a lot of the Japanese recipes.

Could one of these be it?

Joan, I found it as Japanese Shrimp Sauce, Shogun Variety and Japanese Pink Sauce or Benihana Shrimp Sauce.

Here are the recipes:

*JAPANESE SHRIMP SAUCE, SHOGUN VARIETY

I also found this:
1 cup mayo
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp melted butter
3/4 tsp paprika
3/8 tsp garlic powder

Just mix those all together and be sure to refrigerate it when you're done with it.

And this:

*JAPANESE PINK SAUCE

1 garlic clove
1 cup of mayo
1 tablespoon horseradish
.5 teaspoon of dry mustard
2 teaspoons of lime juice--or to taste
1 tablespoon tomato paste/or chili sause
Mix all ingredients and chill

and this one:

*BENIHANA SHRIMP SAUCE.

2 C. mayonnaise
1/2 C. water
1 tsp. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 T. garlic juice
3 to 4 tsp. catsup
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. white pepper

Whisk together.

Thanks, Susan. The Benihana Shrimp Sauce sounds very close. I am going to try it.
