Bake the yam (About an hour) Until soft.
You can microwave yams too. Microwave untill soft. Poke some wholes in the yam in the microwave else it might explode. Cook until it is soft when you poke it with a fork.

Cut the yam in half

Dump the berries on the yam.

Smash the berries into the yam.

Add as much maple syrup as you want for this vitamin packed meal. You can put some maple syrup on the side and dunk the yams in it too.

You can use apple sauce instead of maple syrup if you like it less sweet. Yams and apple sause are good too.
