1 pkg. chocolate cake mix prepared to pkg. directions 1 envelope Dream Whip prepared to pkg. directions 2 small boxes cooked chocolate pudding prepared to pkg. directions 1 can light cherry pie filling 1/4 c. milk chocolate chips 1/4 c. chocolate liquor Heat chocolate chips in microwave until melted, about 1 minute on high. Spread melted chocolate between two sheets of wax paper about 1/4 inch thick. Refrigerate. When cake has cooled, crumble 1/2 into bottom of large straight sided glass bowl. drizzle 1/2 of liquor over cake. Pour 1/2 the still warm pudding over cake evenly. Spoon 1/2 of the cherry filling over pudding. Repeat steps one two and three. Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with dream whip. Remove chocolate from refrigerator and with a potato pealer make chocolate curls to garnish the top of the trifle. Refrigerate until serving.
