SWISS FONDUE

1 lb. swiss cheese shredded fine
1 1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cloves garlic crushed
3 T. corn starch
1/4 c. water
1 loaf french bread, torn into pieces

In a food processor, grate cheese and peeled garlic cloves well. In a heavy saucepan, over medium high heat, bring wine almost to a boil. Add cheese and garlic. Stir until melted. Lower temperature. In a small cup, add water to corn starch and stir until smooth. While stirring, add to cheese mixture. Stir until smooth. Pour into fondue pot. Keep heat under fondue pot low. Serve with bread pieces for dipping.
