Just Wondering?

Easy Chicken & Rice

4-6 boneless/skinless chicken breasts (or porkchops)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 Tablespoon of Sour Cream (you can add more if you like)

Wash your chicken and place it into a slow-cooker Dump the remaining above listed ingredients on top of the chicken (make sure the chicken is smothered in it) and cook for at least 4 hours.

After 4 hours - Cook at least 4-6 servings of white rice. I buy the boil in the bag rice - it is quick and yummy.

Dump the Rice in a 9x13 Dish and then Pour the chicken and soup on top of the rice.

This is the best!

April, I made this today and it tasted so good. I usually do something similar on the stove but the chicken was so tender. I love almost any meat in the crockpot. I used a lot more Sour Cream, at least 4 tablespoons and I could have added even more. Thanks for dinner!

I am glad that you liked it. I like more sour cream too :) but in directions I only put 1 tablespoon because some people think sour cream is over bearing. I didn't mean to put the title as "Just Wondering" - Uggh, how do you change that mistake?

Users cannot change the title. What is the title of the Recipe? I will change it for you.

April, this sounds yummy, but I'm a little confused. In the recipe it says placew the chicken in a 9x13 pan, then you cook in the slow cooker for 4 hours. Is it in the 9x13 just to get smothered in the soup? Can I just place it in the crock pot, dump the soup mixture on top and cook? TIA!!

Crystal, I just dumped the soup mixture on top and then turned the chicken over to make sure it was well-covered. Try it. So good and really easy. Perfect combination as far as I'm concerned. I doubt you've got a lot of extra time with your two! Cute pics on the photo board BTW.

Cori, it worked great just dumping the mix on the chicken. You're right about the kids, who has time to cook?! Thanks! And April, I made this tonight for friends, it got great reviews!! Thanks for sharing, it's become a family favorite for both families very quickly!!

John, It is called Easy Chicken & Rice :) Thanks for changing it. Just Wondering isn't the name.

I corrected the recipe mistake about the dish. You are suppose to cook it in the slow-cooker first and then dump it in another dish on top of the rice once it is finished. :)
