Obviously, there is not anything positive to be said about the current hostage situation and I am not going to try.

I am extremely grateful to our military and their families for fighting against these atrocities and the men and people and organizations who commit them.

I hear about the war, and of course it upsets me just as it upsets us all but occasionally there is one story in particular that "hits home" and this hostage situation is such a story for me. It just makes me sick and angry and devastatingly sad for these folks and their families.

I pray about it. And there is comfort in the prayer.

But a big comfort for me is knowing that we have "the good guys" in our military on our side. Fighting for us and for the victims of terriorists.

So, thank you.
