My dh called to day to wish me a Happy Birthday! I was hoping he would but I wasn't counting on it. He says they have made it safely to their station and have been working hard to make it livable. The call just made my day. He says that the lines for the phones are outrageous and same for the internet since they just had the service restarted.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTIE!!! Thats awesome that he called, especially on your birthday! I bet you're feeling a ton of relief. How are his Marines doing? A few of the guys here at Pendleton that PCSed here from 29 are going to Florida for one of the funerals, the LCpl or Cpl whatever his rank is my mind is blank. My friends DH who is off to DI school was suppose to be in that guys place. Same hummer, same place, same seat. As soon as he signed up for DI school they put the other guy in his place. Hes feeling it bad right now.

But im glad your hubby is doing well. Keep us updated with the conditions over there.
