Your husband had to leave THE DAY BEFORE he was scheduled to get out of the Marines? That's awful! Well, I'm so glad he's back home safe and sound now. My daughter's husband returned home from Iraq not too long ago, as well. He made it JUST in time to see his son born. He's in the Army. Was stationed at Fort Hood, but they just moved this week back to our home state of Louisiana to Fort Polk. They'll only be four hours away. (Yippee!) My daughter is Amy~moderator here at Momsview, and her husband is Daddyof3 here, as well.

BTW, welcome to Momsview, Wendy!

Yeah he did,the marines decided to hold everyone in, if you where suppouse to get out you didnt, if you had orders they where cancled. It was called stop loss, it was finially lifted though and he got to come home.
That is so neat yous sil got to se ehis son born, I cant wait till we have a second child , and I know my husband willl get to see it born, he missed the birth of our first child he was deployed.
