Hi everyone!
My name is Pam and I'm new to the board. I'm always looking for women with similar experiences with children and family life.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi, Pam. I see you have 8 years between your first and second children. There's only 5 years between my first and second, but in many ways it felt like having two only children. Did you have the same experience? And, lo and behold, now I'm a grandmother of a beautiful 16 month old granddaughter - and find that I haven't forgotten a thing. But oh my, things have really changed since I was raising babies and toddlers!

Welcome to Momsview. I think you'll find lots of similar - and different - experiences of child raising and family life. I'm sure you'll like it here. Do jump right in!

Hi, Pam, welcome to Momsview! I'm Dawn and mom to Sarah 17, and Emily 15, plus a dog who is about 4yo, and a hubby of 19 years.

It is hard for me to imagine having grade school children, along with my teenagers! Life must be interesting at your house!

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes, things are interesting here. Three girls all with different activities and schedules.

And yes, Ginny, unfortunately it feels like two families in the house sometimes. My oldest is from by previous marriage and the two youngest are from my current marriage. It's very hard making the older one feel like she belongs. We try, but she resists (loyalty to her father perhaps?)

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better.
