hello everyone my name is melissa and im from maryland. i am 32 years old .I found this site the other day and its looks really great .i have 2 children ages 12 and 1 boy and a girl . i work in the nursing field i do doulbles on the weekends and im going to school to be an RN . i hope to make some new friends . i get really bored when the babys sleeping and the house is cleaned so i want to come here and chat thru the message boards. i am interested in loosing over 50 pounds . so im always up for a weight loss conversation. im wondering if there is a chat room? any way ... nice to be here hope to talk to you all soon.

Hi Melissa! You have quite a span in ages, there! I'm a nurse, too. I work in a walk-in clinic, but used to work in a hospital on a med-surg floor, that was mostly surgical.

My kids are 17 and almost 15, both girls. We live in Wisconsin.

hi again, yes dawnk777 i do have a span in the kids ages its kinda a long story but ill make it short .my sons father died when he was just 4 years old . i had gained so much weight after i had my son (12)and just kept it on for so long so i never had any more with him .six years later started dating a friend of ours witch i kept in contact with always . i went on a diet and lost 85 pounds then i got pregnant ,had a miscarriage lost about 10 more pounds due to depression then i got pregnant about 6 months later with my daughter . its great my son is so helpful .and hes so happy to finally have a sibbling. its also great that i am getting help with my son from one of his fathers friends. now the only thing thats troubling me is loosing the weight again but this time its 50 lbs id like to see disapear
