Hello,
My name is Cate I have been subscribed to momsview for about 5-6 years but never joined the message board. I have 2 wonderful grown daughters 17 & 19. My husband is a wonderful man who has not only helped me raise our children but those I care for now. I now run a home daycare full time since leaving the Cleveland Clinic where I was a hospice nurse on the peds floor for 8 years. I have been a advocate for my daughter and other kids in her school,which I worked part-time (Summit Academy a school for special needs children), as well as kids in my daycare (adhd, bipolar, asperger syndrome, for ie)I also just became an ordained minister this year, I felt a calling. We are also in the process for becoming foster parent's and adopting. I feel this need to be around children. I also work part-time at The Adoption Network of Cleveland. Now that I've told you my whole life story I will stop.....

I'm Marcia, married to Stephen, and have been blessed to mother 7 wonderful children. We all live in Ontario, Canada.
Our family has been formed through adoption, birth, adoption and specialized care fostering x 4. It sounds like you are or are going to be living a very similar life.
Oh, I ran a daycare in my home for several years, after my first was born. I stopped when our second foster child moved in.
