On rainy days or when stormy weather keeps you indoors Don't Be Stuck - Liven Up!...

Music Makes It Easy!

** Create a family video of exercise routines. Heck - just turn up the music & all dance together in the living room - if you do record it - Im sure it will give you a good laugh later! LOL

** Invite friends and neighbors over for some country western line dancing. Mu sister in law & I used to line dance in the kitchen - we would each learn a new one & teach it to each other. It was a regular weekly thing - but it was back when country line dancing was really in!

** Invent a new dance and name it after your family. My 8 year old actually did this & taught it to me! Although the moves changed FREQUENTLY!!! LOL

** Host a dance fever contest for the kids. Get all their neighborhood friends over & put in their favorite music!

** Share dances from each generation in your family. I taught my girls the Electric Slide & they taught me the Cotton Eyed Joe! LOL

Not big on snow but rain we definitely we embrace. Rubber boots, raincoat head to toe, rain hat. Out we go. My son and I explore the puddles and the wildlife in the rain. Its fun. I just have to suspend all cares about mess and being wet.

Love your stay at home ideas too.
