New From NE Indiana

Moms View Message Board: New to Moms View? Introduce Yourself!: New From NE Indiana
By Hammockhugger01 on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 - 09:55 am:

Hi. I am so excited about stumbling across this forum when I was looking up information about my daughter. I am from NE Indiana - about an hour north of Fort Wayne. I have one child, a daughter who is now 15 months old. I didn't get married until 36 so I am now almost 39 as a new mom. We are hoping to have at least one more but I will probably be 40 when that happens. I joined because I am hoping for some good advice and encouragement as a mom. No matter how old you are when you start motherhood, it is always good to have listening ears who completely understand what you're going through. I look forward to meeting you all.

Hi, Emma. Happy to see that you are excited about Momsview. I think you'll find lots of nice women here, lots of advice and encouragement, and lots of opportunities to offer advice and support.

I do want to suggest that you consider taking your last name out of your profile and breaking up your e-mail address, as in name .... at .... service. This prevents the nasty spam robots from pulling your email address and name out of your profile and adding you to their list.

Hi Emma. Nice to "meet" you :) I just read your profile. That is sooooooo precious ( and ROMANTIC) about your DH persuing you like he did ! In a lot of ways, it is a good thing that you are the age that you are, and just now having your babies. I was 17 when I had my first one, and was a grandmother ( albeit...a SEXY grandmother...TeeHee ) at 34 ! It had/has it's perks, also. But, given the chance, I'm sure I would have had them when I was older. But, anyway...WELCOME TO MOMSVIEW !!!!

Thanks. Nice to meet you Wandilu. It looks like you are very involved with your kids and grandchildren.

Wow, you have had a lot to deal with. A wonderful pearl you are becomming. How do I know this? A grain of sand becomes a wonderful pearl by being beaten and ground and irritated by the sand and grit around it. I am sure you just shine. :-)

Tennessee I so beautiful. My dh's uncle lived in the foothills outside Nashville. Same neighborhood as a retired county star and Alan Jackson. Beautiful countryside. They moved to the far south east of Tennessee last year.

It was nice to hear from you. Take care.

Emma

Emma, thank you for the nice words ! I'm sorry it took so long to respond, but I forgot to check back :) . You are probably talking about Franklin, Tn. I'm pretty sure that's where Alan Jackson lives. It is a very beautiful area.
