Hi, nymom here. I have posted a couple of questions so far, but figured I should introduce myself some more. I am a young mom with an 8 year old daughter, and a rotten relationship with her father. I am married to a wonderful man now and working on the second child. Right now I work full time and volunteer at my local Humane Society, but hopefully with the second, I can work part time, or stay at home!
I am very excited that I found this site. Everyone seems wonderful, and I can't wait to get into some more discussions!

You'll find many animal lovers here, including people who rescue and foster dogs and cats and even other animals. We (my youngest son, who lives with me, and I) are very fond of our local Humane Society, since we got our adorable Sascha there - a 95# Rottie who has an extraordinarily kind disposition and holds down the couch perfectly.

Welcome to the group! I'm Dawn, live in WI with DH and 2 teenage daughters. We have an Australian cattle dog, that we adopted from our local shelter, 4 years ago.
