Tonight, when we took photos of the "grand kids" there was an empty place. My niece Hannah should have been there, but she is in a better place, celebrating Jesus' birthday with Him. This was our first Christmas without her, her mom, and her dad. We'll miss them all.

My goodness, Kate! You must be psychic. Hannah and her father passed away exactly a year ago on the 13th, when you posted the above!

They were killed by CO2 poisoning.

My SIL (my husband's sister) joined her husband and daughter this past September. She passed suddenly. We still don't know why.

The only surviving member of the family is my nephew.

So sad ...
