a baby died july 27th and for some reason it has hit me hard ... the mother was a friend of my daughter ... i didnt know her but the baby was only 45 days old ... the mother was arrested for shaken baby syndrome .... myheart hurts for that family ... the mother is 20 father is in prison for life and mother abandoned her when she was 6 and was sent to live with family members that didnt want to take in any of the kids there are 8 total ... now she is in prison ... please say a prayer for the baby and for the family ..... so many lives were affected and touched ....

How sad!! It IS a tragic situation for all. At least that sweet little baby is back with his/her Maker, but that poor Mom. She's just a kid herself. I wonder if anyone ministers to her in prison. Hopefully, she will get counseling. Let's hope that some of her siblings rally to help her. This world can be such a sad place sometimes. Yes, prayers are in order.

Another sad story I heard was a baby was killed in a bathtub. The mother didn't know not to bath a baby with a toddler. She left the room for a minute and by the time she came back. Of course she shouldn't have left the room.

The women later in life became a Christian and a nurse to help babies at hospitals.

Isn't it interesting how good situations come out of bad. We had a very tragic nightclub fire here in RI in February. 100 people died within 3 minutes. As a result, RI now has some of the strictest fire codes in the nation.
